Every Day Inspiration Day 11’s lesson was to take a line from a blog, Kate goes Global in which she starts each paragraph, If we were having coffee right now. Personally, I hate coffee. It doesn’t do a thing for me. I don’t even like how it smells. Reminds me of fresh skunk spray, and believe you/me, I know from skunk spray. But that’s another story. At any rate, I’m going to do this one my own way. Meet me at Timmies, we’ll talk! This is my take on this lesson.Anyone who lives in Canada will know exactly what “Timmie’s” is/means. America has “Dunkin’ Donuts”, Canada has “Tim Horton’s”. So I’d like to begin each paragraph with that line. Besides, my favorite drink at Timmie’s is an Iced Cap with chocolate milk.
Meet me at Timmie’s, we’ll talk… Kate got it from Jess who got it from Amber. And perhaps with this virtual date I’ll spring for a coffee and donut for you. So, what would you like to talk about. I’ve got so many ideas that I’ve been keeping for writing posts. Whether that post be here on rockpriestess writes or life with luna cat. Wow, I’m feeling a little proud of myself because I learned how to set up links in my posts that will take you to that page I’ve just referenced. Previously, I wouldn’t have known how to do that, but I got it. (And I’m gonna use it.)
Meet me at Timmie’s, we’ll talk… Some of my ideas, which I am making note of with my electronic recorder and then transferring those ideas to a new program that I found out about in one of my other lessons, Simplenote. It’s a great little program and I’ve got it on my iPad as well as my laptop. Your notes sync between the devices so you don’t have to run back and forth to find specific information if you can’t remember what device you saved it on. Best part, it’s free. Check out the link and you can download it today if you want. You can set it up with tags to make finding a specific notes with one tag. The program is really easy to use.
Meet me at Timmie’s, we’ll talk… Actually, that’s about it for the time being. But if I decide to do more of these posts, I’ll let you know. This could become a regular series of posts. I’ll list more ideas on Simplenote or on my recorder for consideration. Happy writing and
Ciao for now!
